28th Bilateral Workshop on User Interfaces & Visualization

About

The User Interfaces & Visualization workshop has been held at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden almost every year since 1996. It is traditionally organized by the Faculty of Computer Science/Mathematics and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. It offers young scientists in particular the opportunity to present and discuss their current research results. The workshop is open to undergraduate and PhD students from both universities. The main goal is to create a credible simulation of a process where results of scientific work are presented to an international audience.

Participation

We invite submissions from either CTU Prague or University of Applied Sciences Dresden fitting to the workshop topics. Please submit the title of your talk with an abstract of max. 1000 characters and the name of the author(s).

Important Dates

Submission Instructions

For your final paper submissions after the workshop, please use the LNCS template from Springer.

• Your paper should have a length of around 4 pages. (if you there are many illustrations a longer paper might be accepted)
• Please upload your LaTeX-source and a pdf of your paper, in that way we are able to correct minor mistakes. As name of both files, please use your last name and title of the paper, exchanging whitespaces with underscores.
• Please mention the institute you represent e.g.:

Faculty of Informatics / Mathematics,
Chair for Computer Graphics,
University of Applied Sciences, Dresden Germany

• Please watch out for the typical line-overflows LaTeX sometimes creates when it has problems with line breaks in words or links.
• Please consult with your supervisor/professor before submission.
• Do not forget to acknowledge your grant number (if you have one and are expected to do so)
